Charming property. Basic country style clean rooms. Good value only if using their specials. Excellent gourmet breakfast. Awesome location - can walk over to all of Yountville's attractions.

Room Tip: Very useful wine tasting tips and coupons. Ask for a room with outdoor spa.

Stayed at Lavender for 2 nights during a trip to Napa and Sonoma. Overall I was satisfied with the accomodations, but have to say that it was not nearly as nice as I expected. The rooms are nice and large, but not luxurious, as I had expected from the website. Actually, our room was dated, and the amenities seemed cheap. Overall, the inn is very nice. The breakfasts were very good, and the evening wine tastings were nice. But, for the money, we were disappointed. A nice place to stay, conveniently located, but not luxury.

Charming & quaint place in Yountville. It's definitely pricey, but everything in Napa is. If you enjoy something off the beaten path and don't need all the amenities of a luxury spa or hotel this place is perfect. Breakfast was great, free wine was a little disappointing after tasting such great wines all day, free bikes. Walking distance to great restaurants and tasting rooms.

We stayed in Yountville for the last three days of our trip through wine country. This was an excellent little inn. Our room was very spacious -- the bathroom itself was huge! The room was very comfortable -- good linens on the bed, plush towels, nice toiletries.

Even though the rooms besides ours were occupied, we couldn't hear a thing. The staff at Lavender were very helpful, especially when it came to shipping our loot of wine back home.

The breakfast and wine hour were lovely. Great food, tasty wine (especially for a basic house wine). The dining room was small, but we didn't mind since we took food back to our room and patio most days.

Overall, a lovely stay! Highly recommended!

The guestroom was filthy. Cobwebs, dust, stained linen, small pillows, worn
wash and bath towels (with holes, not just thin). The bed was so poor that I
slept on the floor for the full three days. I'v not been exposed to such a
dirty room in quite some time. The maid who never entered the room until after
5:30 PM changed the sheets, towels and vacumed the middle of the carpet. She
was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

I felt as though this location has not had any capital investments for quite
some time. All furniture was stained, dirty and worn. Dust, cobwebs and litter
was everywhere through out the property. It was an eye sore for a Napa Valley
location.

We just returned from a 2-night stay at Lavender and are already trying to figure out how to go back! Everything about it was perfect - the cottages are luxurious and rustic at the same time, comfortable and very well maintained. You get a much greater sense of privacy than at most B&B's due to having your own private cottage, and then just walk out the courtyard to the main house for gourmet coffee, wine, cheese, cookies, and of course, a delicious breakfast every morning! Marion greeted us and made us feel right at home, and all the staff ensured you had what you needed, but allowed you your privacy. We would gladly stay here again in a heartbeat!
