“Luxury in Yountville”

Hotel Luca is a brand new property in Yountville in the Napa Valley. The staff is extremely courteous staff and very eager to please. The rooms are gorgeous. Bathrooms are huge with both large shower and a soaking tub. Nice touches are everywhere -- including a glass of champagne while checking-in. There is a casual, bistro-style restaurant on site with very good food as well as an on-site spa. Other restaurants and hotels are a very short walk away, and there wineries are within steps of the hotel! The Hotel Luca is an excellent choice!

Just back after a wonderful 4 night stay at the Hotel Luca and we have nothing but high marks for them. There excellent service started even before we arrived at the hotel. The concierges called us prior to our arrival and asked if there was anything they could do for us prior to arrival(ie:dinner reservations, tours) which we thought was very personable and is a touch not provided by some of the finer hotels in which we have stayed. Our flight to California was delayed and we contacted the hotel and told them we would not be there until the wee hours of the morning but they asked if they could have something waiting in our room to eat since they knew that there restaurant and everything in town would be closed at that time of the morning. We finally arrived at 2:30 am and John actually met us in the parking lot and promptly got us settled into our room. The rooms are beautiful and the beds were just as comfortable as our sleep number at home. The daily fee that they charge you is well worth it, the breakfast alone more than makes up for it. The staff and service at the hotel was great, they leave you alone but when you need something they are right there. This was our third trip to Yountville and Hotel Luca was by far our best lodging experience ever. We cannot wait to go back, we highly recommend it

Great service at check in. Beautiful room slightly tight for size but with great style and wonderful bath & fixtures. Location is excellent with easy walk to all of Yountville's fabulous restaurants. Very nice pool/spa and day spa facilities on property as well. Excellent breakfast included (cooked to order eggs). Totally quiet with no disturbances during our stay.
Very classy and stylish property!

We stayed here to celebrate my in-laws 40th anniversary. It did not disappoint! From the personal service to the quaint ambience it was perfect. LOCATION: perfect! a little down the street from must eat at restaurants, walking distance if weather is good. It's very close to French Laundry. ROOM: Clean, comfortable, best pillow of my life! nice little touches like cookies left in the evening BREAKFAST: a very european breakfast that I could eat everyday of my life! oh and the fresh squeezed OJ...need I say more? POOL: didn't use. looks very basic, location kinda blah, neighboring parking lot. Towels outside on chairs daily and ready though. If you like major chain hotels this prob. isn't for you. If you love high end boutique hotels this is a gem! I'll be back...(hint, hint baby...haha)

My wife and I just spent two nights at the Hotel Luca. It is a great little hotel with fantastic service and very comfortable rooms. The bathroom was very roomy, new fixtures, and had a separate tub and shower. The bathroom almost was as large as the sleeping area which, if I had a complaint, was just a little tight. Breakfast was included in our rate and was very good. One thing I liked is that the hotel adds a $25 service charge which takes care of all gratuities other than the restaurant. We liked being able to ask for service without worrying about whether to tip and how much. For example, the concierge gave us great vineyard tips and got us a last-minute appointment for a really great vineyard (Pride Mountain Vineyards - well worth the trip). On departure, we asked for our bags to br brought down and loaded into the car. Within minutes the car was loaded and ready to go out front. All in all, a great stay.

Everything about our stay at Hotel Luca was 5 stars. The room was comfortable and quiet (even though we were a couple of doors from the pool). The food (and complimentary breakfast) at Piero was fantastic. The $25 fee added to the room rate includes tips for the valet (which you don't really need because you park just a few steps from your room), bellman (who will still unload your car even if you don't use valet), room service, and maid service. You still need to tip in the restaurant and spa.

My only complaint would be the hotel is located at the North end of town and about a 5-7 minute walk to the center of town where all the other restaurants are. But there is a trolly (does NOT run on Mon or Tues) that will pick you up and take you anywhere in Yountville at no charge. They also pick you up and return you to the hotel.

We stayed two days at the Hotel Luca on a business/pleasure trip and it is a wonderful, relaxing, beautiful hotel. While there are other hotels as beautiful, this was the best "customer service" experience we have had in a long time. The hotel staff was absolutely the most attentive, friendly, and happy bunch we have ever experienced - from the welcome with a glass of sparkling wine to the check out when they brought our car around and loaded the luggage, the stay was marked by impeccable service, gracious hosting, and incredible accommodations. The other thing we noticed was that the staff really seemed to enjoy their jobs - they seemed to really take delight in what they were doing and were enthusiastic and really cared if you were having a nice stay. This was a first class experience and there was nothing to detract from it.

The rooms: we had a queen room that had a balcony facing the courtyard and while the room itself was not that large, it was luxury - luxury bedding and furniture from Restoration Hardware. The balcony made up for the small room and it was great to have the espresso from the in room espresso machine in the cool summer mornings we were there. Also, the bath was huge and almost as large as the room; add a nice sized walk in closet and it made the entire experience perfect.

Pluses: Many - the hotel restaurant was excellent - and while the food was not perfect - 8.5 on a scale of 10 - the staff was, as in the hotel, absolutely impeccable. The hotel is also withing walking distance to any of the great restaurants in Yountville; the Jessup Cellars tasting room is across the street and "Ma(i)sonry" tasting room is next door (go for a great, but pricey, wine tasting experience!); and world class wineries are close by.

Minuses: None - absolutely not one.
