My husband and I own and operate a private wine tour company in Napa. One of the things we insist on in order to ensure that out customers have a spectacular day is a stop for lunch midday. We know all the options for a quick bite in the valley and one of our favorites is the Napa Style Cafe.
Located in the flagship Napa Style store in Yountville (9 miles north of Napa, behind the V Marketplace at the center of town), the Cafe offers farm-fresh salads and sandwiches. Although the menu is not extensive all the ingredients are farm-fresh and they deliver your items to your table once you've chosen a spot to sit.
People seem to love the meatball sandwich and the pulled pork. I often opt for one of their yummy salads as I am driving and not drinking (so no need for bread).
If you love cookie dough, try one of "Annie's Cookies" (my favorite is the peanut butter).
It's a nice touch that they offer water from a purifier that has both "chilled" and "non-chilled" options; my particular favorite is the sparkling.
The cafe is well-located if you are tasting in the southern half of the valley, and the outdoor seating offers quiet charm and beauty.
The only reason I don't give it 5 Stars is that it seems silly to rate a casual eatery as if it were a full-service restaurant.
