Owner description: Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley offers a unique lifestyle experience in wine country. Originally built in 1904 as a private residence, the manor is one of three stone buildings in Yountville, and one of only two listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As an art, design and wine gallery set amidst a contemporary, landscaped sculpture garden, Ma(i)sonry offers guests a respite and a retreat. Guests have a variety of choices for their wine tasting setting. They can enjoy the intimacy of one of our three private tasting rooms, lounge in either of the great rooms, or gather outdoors at individual and communal tables, around the fire pit, or while stretched out on a blanket on the lawn. The outdoor gardens are beautifully landscaped around architectural remnants and contemporary sculpture and are available for our clients to relax and enjoy a bite or a bottle of wine on their own before or after their tasting.

We attending a party function here, but I would recommend a proper visit for tastings of wine from a variety of places, especially the uncommon and inaccessible (ie. not open to the public).

For most people, visiting the Napa Valley for some wine tasting means heading up route 29 and stopping by a few of the bigger name wineries like Heitz, Grgich, Mondavi and so on. Most people miss out on the smaller gems in the area. Ma(i)sonry is one of those.

As you head upvalley, there are a few smaller boutique style tasting rooms that I'd recommend, and this is one of them. For anyone who's into art, this place would especially appeal to them. But even if you don't fully appreciate art, you will enjoy the wines. They pour an assortment of labels here, from Recuerdo Mendoza Malbec to Blackbird's Arise, and a few others. As a collective, they bring a more casual atmosphere, where you can sit in the back patio area and simply enjoy some great wine.

Our hostess (forget her name) was very sweet, and helpful during our visit. Plus, you can amble down the road to Bouchon bakery after you're done - or hit up Cornerstone and Somerston for some more tastings!

The team at Maisonry delivered a wonderful experience tasting some wonderful small wineries. Bradley Adler, our wine guy, listened carefully to our likes and surprised us with each taste. Beautiful setting. Go see them.

A beautiful setting in the heart of Yountville. Great opportunity to taste a variety of wines from smaller, boutique wineries. The service was very good. We were fortunate to meet the winemake for our dessert wine. A ton of flexibility if you want to taste a flight, or just a specific wine, have a glass or even a bottle. The setting outside is very warm and comfortable, amazing woodwork. Will definitely return to try more on the extensive list.
