The room was cozy, the breakfast adequate, the people that work their friendly and the location was excellent. Walkable to shops in the town of Yountville and not far from the wineries. Everything in Yountville is on the expensive side, but for Yountville I would say this is mid range.

This is my idea of a perfect B&B - great location (walk to shops/restaurants); good food (afternoon cheese &crackers/dips/wine and breakfast potato dish with poached eggs/scones); pretty decor; and great service from friendly staff. Our large room (#7) was perfect for two single friends with its two beds: a king and an oversized single in an alcove (hard to find two beds in B&B's!) and the beds were comfy. The room was on the top floor so requires climbing stairs but worth every step. Loved the scent of the bath soaps and lotions. An extra surprise was the pool - great place to relax in the shade with a book. Don't miss the Bouchon Bakery just around the corner - the huge salted caramel French macaron just oozes its delicious caramel!

We chose Maison Fleurie as our very first B&B experience. What a mistake! Though it is in a great location, it's not worth it. We shelled out $500 for two nights in their smallest room. It turned out to be way too small for two adults, but that wasn't the worst part. The chair was stained, the shower head was moldy, and it looked like the toilet brush stained the wall a bit. Additionally, there was no safe in the room, which was problematic as we discovered we were missing a bit of cash when we left. We slept in and arrived to breakfast around 9:30 to find that it was picked-over. We will not return and advise you do not stay here.

Room Tip: There is no elevator, so prepare to haul your luggage up narrow stairs.

I was of course extremely concerned to read the comments of your stay. Please know that we would have very much welcomed the opportunity to discuss this with you at the time and would have appreciated you mentioning this while on property. Please know that we cherish and trust each member of our staff and trust them implicitly. This trust is also confirmed by the security footage available to us. I am sorry for the disappointment with your stay. Please know that we strive to ensure we meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort with regards to the guestrooms. In addition, as an historic inn, our guestroom sizes vary from the smaller, budget friendly rooms for guest wishing to spend the majority of their day exploring the Napa Valley to larger options. We clearly details the sizes of these on our website in the hope of advising guests prior to reservation. I am sorry therefore that you were unaware. I wish you happy travels and hope you will enjoy a return visit to the beautiful Napa Valley.
Warmly,
Katey O'Brien

We had a fabulous stay for 3 nights on our first trip to Napa. We stayed in room #5 which was on the top floor and we had a lovely view. It was cozy and quaint. The breakfasts were delicious and the wine & cheese in the afternoon was a great way to begin the evening. The location cannot be beat as it was walking distance to all the best restaurants in Yountsville.
The staff at the reception were very helpful in suggesting activities and wineries to visit.
Everything was well maintained and very neat and tidy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

My daughter and I stayed at Maison Fleurie for two nights and had a wonderful experience. We chose one of the smaller rooms and found it to be comfortable and well-appointed. We enjoyed the breakfast (fantastic slow-cooker oatmeal) and charming breakfast room. The upper-level terrace was a terrific place to relax with a book and glass of wine and the pool was perfect for an afternoon swim on a hot day. We also loved that the hotel is walking distance to world-class restaurants. Truly, the location couldn't be better. Good value for Napa. I hope to return with my spouse at some point.
