I've been coming here for about 10 ys, off an on. I used to enjoy the mellow environment, or on occasion not so mellow later at night.

The food used to be pretty good.. pizza, burgers and the chicken sandwhich.. taco Monday's were always about average... nothing special.

The last couple years has been disappointing.

1st the food...

Burgers come out as hockey pucks unless you ask them for anything other than medium rare. If you are lucky enough to get a fresh bun and not being burnt, it is actually quite good. Chicken sandy's have become consistently dry, and pizza's are never done enough. They run out of chicken taco's by 6PM on Taco Monday.. this has happened about 3 times now.. wtf?

2nd The atmosphere...

It's always cold and uninviting. I have not seen the fireplace going in over 5 yrs. Some say it's due to the newer ventilation system. How about a heater that works? I have never liked the uncomfortable picnic tables as seating.

3rd Service...

The bartenders used to be nice and efficient. However, the turnover is fast now, and the new bartenders are rude and have no idea how to make a drink... and many times, won't make you something if it is more than a beer or 1 kinda of liquor. The owner has made it clear that the status quo is acceptable, and I know many that are no longer going back. I have made some friendly suggestions to her, and she has been nothing but rude and says, "if you don't like something, leave."

Well, guess what... I have left. And so have most of my other friends that live in town. When I drive by, it never seems like there are many people there anymore, so I guess others feel the same.

While some may look at this as a personal issue, it really isn't. All the things I have said are true, and even if I didn't have the snotty attitude of the owner, with the downfall of everything else, I would have stopped coming anyway.
