This building used to be a bank, and you can definitely tell - the vault is still there! The food is excellent and the service is very good. I've been here for both lunch and dinner, and have been with 1-5 other people, and everyone is happy with their food!

After a windy ride on the bicycle from midtown Sac to Woodland, we used the occasion to again visit Paco's Mexican Restaurant at Main and College, in the original Yolo County Savings Bank. We had good memories of the first visit there, and this second time did not disappoint. The fajitas (grilled chicken and chicken/steak combo) were very flavorful and didn't need any heat to taste terrific. The flan dessert was served with a sweet whipped cream on the side, and was a little firm but savory. Will go there again to sample the empanadas and admire the brass-and-chrome vaults at the back of the restaurant.

This place is cool! It's is in an old bank downtown and they kept the original marble work and the walk-in vault. On top of the beautiful setting the meal was great. I find carnitas is a great test of a mexican restaurant and theirs were perfectly prepared. The best Spanish rice I've ever had and the empanadas were to die for. Dinner and dessert for two was $30. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Nice building - it's an old bank with the big vault - the food is good and service is good. They remind me of southern California Mexican restaurants - same flavor and spices - which is rare in northern California.
