Growing up on a farm, this AG Center is a cool look at farming life and equipment changes over the years. It's not your usual "museum".

“Very interesting museum”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Just visited the Heidrick AG center in Woodland, and found it to be an interesting place! I have driven by it many, many times, but never thought to stop until my brother, who is into mechanics, invited me to go with him. The museum is huge, with one side featuring old tractors, and the other side trucks of all sorts. I am not really all that in to tractors or trucks, but this place was beautifully laid out, with lots of information about each exhibit that made it worth the visit. We were lucky enough to be taken around by a volunteer who told us great stories about the trucks and tractors.
I recommend this museum both to people who are mechanically-minded, and those who just like learning new things about old stuff. Staff is very friendly and there is a nice gift shop.

“Cool old stuff”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

Machinery the way grandpa used to do it. Scenes from the '40's, like a gas station, a kitchen. Various old vehicles as well as farm equipment. A "guess what this is" display makes it fun.

“Fully Restored!”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

The Heidrick Truck and Tractor Museum is a gem right in the heart of Woodland, only 15min from downtown Sacramento. They have 130,000 square feet of beautifully restored trucks and tractors, just like the ones your pappy used to own! I am partial to the truck side, but the farm equipment is truly a testament to modern engineering. The entrance ranges from free to $8 and it goes to a good cause, so don't begrudge them! Kids will love it, but remember to go in the morning b/c it only has fans, so a summer afternoon can be sweltering.

“Ag History Center-Worth a visit”
Reviewed May 15, 2012 via mobile

This is a truly special collection of historic and vintage farming equipment from the late 1800s to the mid 1900s. Some very fascinating pieces with very knowledgable tour guides. The Hay Antique Truck Museum next door made this a double dose of history!! Wellworth the time and $.
