We met another couple who lives in Vacaville here. We came from the area north of Sacramento. Not a bad drive, about an hour. I ordered a lemon drop, it was perfect! The rest of the table shared a bottle of wine. The bread was warm-crunchy on the outside & delicious on the inside. We placed our orders-two had prime rib, one had filet & I ordered the scampi. The dinners included soup or salad. The person ordering the soup said it was good, but too thick (the consistency of oatmeal). The salads were cold & the lettuce crispy. Our meals arrived-- everyone who ordered beef had mashed potatoes & asparagus said their was was very good. I ordered rice with my scampi--also very good. Several choices for dessert--each couple split one which we all enjoyed. We will definitely come back, a nice change from the restaurants in Sacramento & Roseville.
