Came with my niece that was having surgery. The area is very pleasant with restaurants across the road as well as next door. The hotel was extremely accommodating giving us a very large room for handicap capability. We stayed several days after the surgery and were given complete privacy asking us to let the staff know when we wanted the room cleaned. My niece was bed-bound after surgery and the staff came in quietly and cleaned the bathroom, gave us extra towels, changed the pillow cases and left. They were wonderful! If we needed anything they were right there at the door, refreshments, cookies anything from the kitchen they served in the morning for breakfast. We could not have asked for better treatment. Breakfast is included in the rate of the room. It is good, especially the fresh fruit and freshly made oatmeal.

Thanks for staying with us and taking the time to let your fellow travelers know about your experience. I'm concerned about the cold eggs that you encountered. I apologize to you as that is clearly not our standard! I will follow up with our breakfast staff to ensure that we're more vigilant as to the temperature of our egg offering. Glad you enjoyed the fruit. Weekends we're proud to augment our breakfast with fresh donuts made right here in town! Hope you hurry back, we'd love another chance to get everything right!

This hotel was excellently located for us to do a stopover on a quick trip with a friend. I was very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and decor of the hotel. The room (we got a two queen bed room) was very generously large. Even with two beds, there was room to move around. The beds, I might add, were extremely comfortable. We especially appreciated the multiple light layers, so you could have just the right level of weight and warmth.

My only complaints were that the refrigerator (which is a nice addition) was loud, woke me several times during the night cycling on and off. (I appreciated that the front desk asked if there were any things they could do to improve our stay, and when I mentioned the frig she said they would look into it.) The breakfast, while convenient was not impressive. They did have "hot" scrambled eggs and omelets, but they were not hot. There was some fresh fruit salad, which was nice.

Thank you for staying with us. Glad you enjoyed the hotel and all there is to do in this area. We will definitely look into the refrigerator noise. It is obviously not supposed to make noise! Please hurry back - next trip I'd love to upgrade you to a Studio Suite at no additional cost for your trouble! Thanks again.

We have been trying different hotels in Sonoma Cty over the last three years. This hotel is a true find! It's new, extraordinarily quiet (despite being full-up when we stayed for 3 nights), very comfortable. We were in a universal access room with walk-in shower, #150. The staff is eager to please. The breakfast buffet is generous and surprisingly good quality.

This Hampton Inn was the equal of some of the 4-star hotels such as Andaz/Napa and Hyatt Vineyard Creek/SRosa, but costs half as much. It far exceeds any of the other moderate-rate hotels we've tried throughout Sonoma and Napa. The room had 10' ceilings with great soundproofing. We never heard anyone except one guy talking on his cell phone in the hallway. The air conditioner unit was quiet (being new) and the hotel layout is very good. Parking is all around it, so you're never far from your car. Wireless Net is free, although speed was only average.

The location off 101 is very good, but it's better for Russian River, Healdsburg and SRosa, NOT the southern end of Sonoma County. It's also convenient to Hwy 128/Anderson Valley area, and far less expensive than staying in Healdsburg.

Note that even with the finished freeway expansion of 101, it's often a commute nightmare around SRosa (everywhere else is usually OK); weekends are almost as bad. If you are wine-tasting or dining in the area, we can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Room Tip: #150 Universal Access room, excellent.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. We had called down to the front desk and asked for her to call us a cab. She told us that it would be about 25-30 minutes for our cab to show up. We came downstairs 30 minutes later and there was no cab. Waited in the lobby for another 20 minutes, still no cab. At this point we were starting to get nervous because we were supposed to be at the wedding in 10 mintues. The manager saw us and offered to take us in his own car. He was VERY nice and VERY helpful. We mad it to the wedding RIGHT ON TIME. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond, we were very pleased.

Thanks for sharing that story. We do have a great staff who love to serve our wonderful guests! We hope that you hurry back for a non-wedding stay. There's so much to see and do. We just sent a couple out for a 1 hour hike into the hills 5 minutes from the hotel in the Shiloh Ranch Regional Park. What a beautiful, invigorating start to a wonderful day!

The hotel in Healdsberg was a very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I will definitely stay there again when visiting that area. I would recommend this hotel to other family members and friends coming to the area.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. While we are 5 minutes from Healdsburg, we aren't technically located within the city limits. However, Windsor has it's own charm and attractions. During the summer we have Thursday night market at our town green with live music and dancing, and Tuesday night family movie night under the stars as well. The whole town turns out and it's a great memory maker! Hurry back - we'd love to see you again!
