We've been coming here for over 6 years but this visit is truly not as pleasurable as other visits. The aroma from the pond (aka Lake Archie) is truly overwhelmingly disgusting and has been awful all week. Has really spoiled our normal, pleasant stay here.

I'm sorry to hear that the lake had a smell that was noticeable to you on your recent visit. Were you camped right on the edge of the lake? The 25 acre Lake Archie is a natural lake and does go through different phases during the year. The water level is supplemented by a well during the summer, but is allowed to recede naturally in the fall, in preparation for winter and rain and runoff storage. We also use a fish and animal safe UV blocker about once a year to prevent the overgrowth of plants underwater. While we do maintenance and monitoring of the lake on an ongoing basis, we also like to allow the natural ecosystem of plants and animals to exist with minimal interference. Thank you for your 6 years of visiting!

If you like nude recreation, this is the place. My wife and I have visited dozens of nudist facilities around the country and this has, by far, the best of everything; rooms, grounds, food options, etc.

The ranch more formally known as Laguna del Sol is about to become my full time residence. After 6 yrs if glamping, I'm hanging up my RV camping gear to move into a yr round dwelling: a 650 sq ft park model located steps away from the main pool and restaurant with a lively koi containing pond in front and direct view of the main stage in the meadow. So I must really love LDS.

I love everyone who comes to Laguna Del Sol (LDS). Everyone is friendly & fun.
I think most of the staff is also very friendly & helpful. Everyone loves dancing the night away sans clothes. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast & lunch and the staff is very nice. Unfortunately our dinners were marginal. And from what we were told by others, thats the norm? Our cottage was a real disappointment. Its an old smelly out dated mobile home. Junk furniture and a terrible bed. I would be embarrassed to rent that heap. Check out is 10 am! Way too early. And when I asked to check out a little later.....Sure for an extra $64!! LDS is either clueless or greedy?

Laguna Del Sol is a delightful oasis in the Sacramento Valley. The grounds are immaculate, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the amenities have all been upgraded. The main pool and spa area is spacious with lots of natural and umbrella shade (a must in the hot, dry sun!) We saw the indoor pool and spa but did not use them. They are in a newer building with luxury rooms on the opposite side of the lake. The restaurant serves B,L, & D daily. Good food, reasonable prices and a gorgeous view! The main bar and nightclub are open on weekends.

Accommodations vary from tent sites to full-hook-up RV sites; park models with full housekeeping set-ups; luxury rooms with a lake view and the basic rooms which are very basic! We stayed in a basic room, much older and more of a barracks feeling; very small. The plus, we stayed out of the room and enjoyed the amenities! Despite the low cost, we would not stay in a basic room again.

The resort is an hour from the airport and the nearest outside shopping and dining is about 30 minutes away. We stayed on property for our stay.

We left Laguna Del Sol totally relaxed, and ready for our return flight to Florida. We definitely plan to return and stay in one of the better rooms on our next visit to the west coast!

Room tip: Stay in a luxury room or one of the park models. Our room rating is based on staying in a basic room.
