On my way from Redding westbound 299 to the coast, I found myself in this town one night around the holidaze. Room was expensive for what they offered. Bad weather -- and they have you by the balls, way out here. Room was small, but clean and located under a carport driveway, which made it echo and loud w/ rain. Heater didn't work, so had to ask. It's small, electric and finicky. TV, phone, the basic only. Lots of parking. Ideal location, middle of town. Perfect place for outdoor recreation - rafting, kayaking, fishing, mt biking, camping, backpacking, horseback.

Basic, but clean and equipped with what you need - coffee maker, fridge and stove top. Look at that wood panelling on the walls. That stuff is real! It's wide planks and thick and was from a real big old tree.

Gotta like that.
