“What a bargain!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2014

Three of us stayed here for 2 nights in mid Jan because of the reviews on Tripadvisor. We found it to live up to the great reviews. Our room, while small, was very clean, beds were quite comfortable, shower was fantastic and it was very quiet. Neither noise from rooms sharing walls nor any street noise were heard. It's far enough from Hiway 5 so as not to get any of that dull roar, yet it's conveniently located - just a couple of blocks from Granzellas and downtown Williams. That there's a small fitness center and a modest continental breakfast with fresh fruit is icing on the cake. The owner was cordial and responsive to requests. We requested to leave an hour later than checkout and he graciously complied. There's even a small writing table and a cosmetic nook with mirror. The wifi was faster than our Verizon connection, the appliances appeared to be new and functioned well. The soft and firm pillows were a big surprise. Usually pillows aren't comfortable. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay pleasant, restful and accomodating. Will definitely stay here when in the area again. Thank you!

We stayed here the day after Christmas on our way from WA to SoCal. We had a coupon for this motel for only $54 with tax, so I was a bit wary. I checked it out on my Trip Advisor App and read the reviews. Based on the reviews we passed up several motels in Williams and checked in to this one. I am glad we did, it lived up to its reviews. Our room was very small, but very clean and well maintained, as if it had been recently painted or renovated. 2 comfortable beds, a microwave, refrigerator, cable T.V., free WiFi and a very clean small bathroom. Everything was very "fresh." The motel is in walking distance of a very nice restaurant, which we also enjoyed. It was just what we needed: a safe, clean, reasonably priced and comfortable place to spend the night on our way to visit grandchildren.

We stayed here basically because of the previous reviews and I have to say we were not disappointed. The room was clean and neat, had a great bed and the air conditioner worked just fine. The room was small but after all we just wanted a good nights sleep. We were put in a room facing the street but could not hear anything from the outside.
The next time we come down I-5 this is where we will stay.

Our room was small but very nice and clean. The one problem was the smell of bleach which will probably soon be gone. The room had been renovated with a lovely, small tiled bathroom. Paint was fresh and clean and the bed was excellent. My shower was warm but not at all hot - not sure why. But I would stay here again. It was a good value and I'll bet the hot water issue will be fixed.
Breakfast wasn't large but very adequate for the room they have to work with.

We stopped here just before Christmas. It is a small motel which has been nicely renovated. Rooms are small, but very clean. Lobby is tiny, so continental breakfast is served from a small counter (to take back to your room). Service was good and price was very good.

I have stayed at Traveler's for the past three years every time I go hunting in the Colusa area. I especially like how clean, warm and quiet the rooms are. The matress is perfect. Parking my car near the door is a real plus because I keep my dogs in their kennels in the car. Very secure and convenient. Also a bargain and very easy to make a reservation either by phone or on line. Book early for opening weekend of pheasants. I'll be back many times.

Room Tip: All rooms are great. I don't have a favorite.

Actually, better than best among comparably priced motel accommodations. On every stay we've found our rooms spotlessly clean, nicely appointed and quiet. Staff actually walk us to the room to make sure all is in order. We usually take the short walk to Granzella's or Louis Cairo's for dinner and hit the local McDonald's for coffee before heading out to the nearby wildlife refuges. The rooms range from small to smaller, but they serve us well. How much space do you really need for a bird book and a couple of pairs of binoculars?

Room Tip: We've stayed in different locations. Even rooms facing the road have been quiet.
