We visit the Sacramento and Colusa Wildlife Refuges near Williams at least twice a year and Traveler's Inn has more than earned our repeat business and recommendations to friends and family. We typically choose one of the smaller rooms with one Queen bed and find it ample for our needs, with a flat screen TV, comfortable bed, high quality linens and both firm and softer pillows. The bathrooms are small but equipped with a standard tub and excellent shower. An extra mirror (with electrical outlet) in the room is a helpful touch. Especially after dark, it's nice to be escorted to the room by a friendly staff member who checks to make sure that everything is in order. We usually check-in just after sunset and walk the short distance to Louis Cairo's for dinner. The morning coffee and fresh fruit are a welcome addition to the bag of Sausage McMuffins we pick up on our way back to birding at dawn.

What a surprise to find such wonderful little place in Williams. The newly refurbished rooms were beautiful. While not large they were extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The location is away from the main traffic areas so it was very quiet. The continental breakfast is basic but adequate. And the price is fantastic.

I was amazed by the outstanding decor of this newly refurbished little motel in downtown Williams, CA. The place may look humble from the outside, but don't be deterred. It's just like staying in a first class hotel, although with a cozier and homier room. The furnishings and upgraded room finishes are very tasteful, including the very comfortable bed and quality bedding, widescreen TV, carpeting, and beautifully tiled bathroom. The extra tall bedside lamp enables guests to read comfortably in bed, which is a thoughtful convenience most tourist accommodation lacks. Obviously, a professional interior decorator was used in redecorating this place. My room had a microwave and mini-fridge, which came in handy, although there is a very adequate continental breakfast included in the price. The amenities package was comparable to what one receives at much pricier hotels. The room was spotless and the staff were very friendly. I had a RoomSaver coupon, which brought me to this gem, and I'm glad it did! During my 6 week vacation, this was the overall best place that I stayed in, and I hope to return some day.

My husband, son and I stayed here going to Seattle and again on the way home. The owners are very friendly. The rooms are clean, neat, well supplied and decorated. We would stay here again anytime we are in the area. Forget other budget motels, which costs more and are less comfortable. HIGHLY recommended!

Room Tip: We stayed in different rooms each time and both were excellent.

wasn't to sure at first as we just pulled of interstate 5. The manager Manning talks us on the phone in to inn but it is very easy to find. He walked us over to our room and gave us a tour. Non smoking hotel. This Inn has been remodelled by an interior decorator as we were taken a back by the style of the room. Every detail was wonderful. Huge flat screen tv mounted on wall, laptop wifi area, fridge, make-up mirror, hairdyer, shampoo, cond, soap... new pillow top high beds... bed was so comfy... cont. usual breakfast. I would recommend this Inn and will come back maybe in the summer when i can use the pool.
Only comment was a second towel for us gals with long hair = 2 extra towels would be great. Thats it.
Note: if you smoke, Manning will bring you an ashtray for outside. It is 100% non=smoking and rooms smell great.
Note: if you wake up early you will need to run shower for a bit to warm up - we were up at 5am.
The owners take pride in their Inn and it shows.
