We've stayed at this location at least twice a year for the last seven years and never have had a bad stay.
Reading the review regarding the screwed up event in Sept of 2012, I can totally sympathize with the writer. Must have been a nightmare.
But from being in customer service for airlines and hotels in my past, I can vouch for one thing....when you have a large group and something (this big) gets messed up...there's no easy fix. Cancelled flights? You can't just pull another airplane out of the hanger....not enough rooms? They aren't hiding any extra ones in the parking lot. And lets face it...one manager per shift, anywhere. Hotels (unless it's Vegas maybe) usually have one manager per department,and I doubt that the restaurant manager was gonna be able to solve the issues.
Enough on that.
Always friendly staff, room are being remodeled and look very nice.
Times that we have stayed there and had maintenance issues, they have responded quickly.
Several good restaurants with in walking distance, been a few years since we've had breakfast there, but when we did, it was very good.
Also pet friendly, (I believe with a charge) but that's often hard to find. And we've never had an issues with any dogs barking and keeping us awake.More
