We visited on a Saturday evening so we expected to wait. However, the wait at this restaurant seemed to be self-inflicted. From our vantage point in the front of the restaurant we could see entire sections of vacant tables that weren't being filled. We also noticed that food was backed up coming out of the kitchen with 7 or 8 trays of food sitting under warming lights. None of the wait staff seemed rushed, so I assume this is the standard for the restaurant. A couple more cooks and servers on busy nights are needed.
Once we were seated, and got our drinks, we again had to wait quite some time for our food. They did provide a basket of fries while we waited, so we didn't go hungry. We've been to many Red Robin's so the noisy ambiance and the food here was what we expected. We ordered our favorites and were happy with the food quality and taste. We always get the burgers, and my mushroom burger was delivered just the way I ordered.
I'd avoid this place on busy nights, unless they hire more staff to take care of the crowds, or you don't mind killing time. There were even more people waiting to be seated when we left around 7PM.
