“Pass this restaurant up”

The food was bad. Undercooked waffles and overcooked bacon. The huevos rancheros was marginal. Save your money.

“Real solid good food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2011

This is road food at it's best. The hamburgers were tasty with nice juicy bacon in them. The onion rings were beer-battered and tasty. The service was great. There's a lot of travelers in here stopping off from Interstate 5 and the place is quite interesting because of that. There all sorts of people eating here, which makes people watching lots of fun.

“Beware! It was AWFUL”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2008

OMG - just ate there tonight, and it's one of the very few times in our lives when we really wished we had stopped at a chain. It was airport prices for TERRIBLE food. We're still in disbelief at how bad the food was - it was almost inedible except for the fries. If we can warn one weary traveller from this experience, it was worth pecking this out on my iPhone.

“Real food, not a chain”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2008

It was late, it was dark, we were hungry. My husband was ready to settle on Subway for a sandwich, but I wanted a plate of hot food. The only non-franchised food service we found right off the interstate was Ingram Creek Restaurant so we gave it a shot. The night cook did a great job with my scrambled eggs (fluffy, not tough) in ranchero sauce (spicy!) and my husband's chile relleno. Their fruit pies looked good, but we were too full to try them. ... maybe next time. Easy on-off the highway. The only drawback was that all the servers seemed a little crabby. It's a drag not being able to get a smile out of the waitress. :o(
