We made reservations and asked to be seated outside which was nice. Inside is crowded, dark, and noisy. I always get the Macadamia crusted halibut which is delicious. It comes with jasmine rice which tasted like regular rice tonight and a delicious peanut sauce although there wasn't enough. One person ordered risotto with lobster which he said was really good; another the miso sea bass which was excellent. I had a taste and will order that next time. We had creme brûlée which could have had a thicker burnt sugar coating but was otherwise delicious; tiramisu which was good and I had the coconut cream pie which resembles no other coconut dessert I have ever tasted. The crust was thin and not flaky as described; the filling was gelatinous which no coconut flavor and the cream on top had toasted coconut and caramel sauce. I would definitely not order that again. They need to get a good southern coconut cream pie recipe if they are going to have one on the menu. The waitstaff was friendly and loved every dish we ask about so we didn't get a good critic of the items. We will definitely go back again and stick with the menu items we know and like.

This place is near the lake ( beautiful!) and the food is to die for. But if u can avoid going for an early dinner, do it because it also serves as a sports bar and it can get very loud. I've come for dinner before and it was lovely with a jazz band playing in the background. Still like this place but would not go back for an early dinner.

Great service, solid selection of seafood (although not sure why they serve farm-raised east coast salmon when so much fresh is available?). Lovely selection of wines. Only disappointment was the cheese plate selection - essentially three versions of non-descript cheddar. Makes you wonder how they make their blue cheese dressing, if they don't even have blue cheese?

I have been to Fins many times --- with family, for a romantic evening for two, to commemorate a special event or just a nice evening out with friends and have never been disappointed. The ambience is pleasant, the food is consistently good, and the servers are attentive. I have tried several main dishes but ALWAYS come back to my absolute fave, the Macadamia Halibut. It is absolutely superb. The halibut is always fresh and the portion is ample. The jasmine rice is light and airy and a perfect accompaniment to the Thai peanut sauce. It is this sauce that really makes the dish excellent. As well, there is a lovely fruit salsa that perfectly compliments the peanut sauce. In all, this dish cannot be topped. It is worth a trip to Fins just to try it!

I had a great time here enjoying many different beers! The food was fine and the price is right for the area.
