Could not have been happier with this place. All the food was excellent. From the guacamole, to the fish and shrimp tacos, to the oysters (both fresh and roasted), everything just worked. The happy hour ceviche was huge and tasty. If we hadn't ordered everything at once (trying to get in under the happy hour cut-off), we probably would have cut back on food based on the size of the ceviche. Glad we didn't. Drinks were good (very nice margaritas and mojitos). Only drawback was the crowd. It was juiced. But a small price to pay. Wish there was one of these closer to us in the west valley. Can't wait to get back again!

On my first visit here I was an oyster virgin, couldn't even think about trying them. The two gentlemen at the oyster bar offered me a taste of a very mild one and I was hooked. Thanks to Lure I have tried a good 10 different kinds of oysters and this is one of the differences between Lure and other restaurants in the area that serve oysters. Lure offers a true variety of what's in season and the guys KNOW their stuff. Not to be missed, also, are the broiled oysters with parmesan, parsley and butter, their answer to Oysters Rockefeller. Yum! The wine list is good although I have not sampled too many as I have a favorite Viognier with my oysters. Happy Hour is great, too, with a very large seating area, not overly noisy and it includes the oyster bar. Manny, Alex and Travis will take excellent care of you.

Ordinary seafood cooking. Cioppino without crab or lobster or Pernod, (maybe there was a splash of white wine) for $24. Ambient noise level was equivalent to an airport tarmac so ordinary conversation has to be held at a shouting level which means your neighboring diners were also shouting. Service was ok but unfortunately poor young people were not well informed of the different varieties of seafood. Hey, the restaurant is no more than 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean. I can never understand why fish has to be so expensive when the source is so close. Layout and decor was ok but not like old chowder houses of San Francisco. Have the Cioppino in the city.

Fresh fish, well prepared. Busy place. Sharp decor. Knowledgeable servers. Responsive and attentive bartenders. We ate at the bar and had a wonderful meal.
