Gone are the times that you just could not venture into an Indian restaurant in the US. Having experienced Swagath in Portland, was keen to try another restaurant elsewhere, to see if there was a general improvement or if Swagath was a one off.....
Ordered Raita, Tarka Dal, Vegetable Korma, Basil and Garlic nan. Mango Juice. Veg korma had courgettes, carrots, beans, cauliflower, broccoli and peas in a rich sauce. All beautifully spiced (delicate but flavoursome). Nan had dried basil and fresh basil. Waiters polite. All in all, very positive experience, and seemed to be popular with locals. The portions were large and half of the was restaurant full by 6.30.
Came here twice in the week that I was here. Very good both times.
