The food was extraordinary. We had ordered an entree of short ribs and another of cod. Apparently their was some confusion and two entrees of ribs where delivered. Once we clarified what we have ordered, the "server" said he would take one plate of ribs back and bring us the cod that we had ordered. The plates were in front of us, looking beautiful, and we didn't want to waste such a beautiful dish. So, we assured our "server" that it was perfectly fine and we would enjoy the two entrees of ribs which he had delivered. My husband and I started to eat our ribs - which were fabulous - and a little bit later the "server" brought us a plate with the cod was melt in your mouth extraordinary. It turns out that our charming "server" was non other than Masa Shimakawa, Chef/Restauranteur of ONYX. It was our first time eating at ONYX but it will definitely not be our last. Wonderful eating experience and Mr. Shimakawa is as charming as his restaurant.
