Our first impression was that the neighbourhood this was in is very nice. It’s more trendy and upmarket. The front of the hotel looks nice albeit a bit dated, but as soon as you walk in, the hotel has a strange old musky smell. Like dampness or just old building smell. The room we booked was nice and spacious which was good, but for the price not sure it was worth it. I think you pay more for the location. The chocolates and snacks in the room are crazy expensive and the shower is very odd layout. The shower is a bath with a shower head. The sliding door is on the shower head side of the bath so it’s hard to get into the shower and not slip or trip. And we’re a young couple! If you don’t want to wash your hair you can’t get in without going through the water first, otherwise you have to stand in the shower and then turn the shower on and wait for it to turn hot. If you hold onto the sliding door for support when you’re getting out it moves so it’s not very secure. Otherwise the bathroom and closet is really nice. The staff are fairly nice too, and location is close to a great place to eat called Norms and some shops.More
