Tried out this restaurant in Los Angeles last week. My family had the oysters which they said were excellent. The lobster roll was good but extremely small for the price paid. I had a calamari starter which was very good with tentacles as well as strips of calamari. Dessert was excellent too.

Think a seaside spot in Maine: lobster roll, fish & chips etc The food is good but pricey for what it is. The best thing is the raw oyster bar, over 20 different kinds of oysters. I would just come here for oysters.

No filler to be seen here, unless you count butter as a filler. Not a place for those with cardiac issues. The lobster roll was lobster pieces, sweet and tender and buttery. The clam chowder was great and agin no thickener here - cream and butter. Best I've had outside Maine or Massachusetts. Service was impeccable. Just wish they had a restaurant near my home since we found this on vacation. Only downside was having to pay $7 to park in their own lot. Goodness does not come cheap but not bad for LA.
