Went there for lunch and was not impressed with either the food or the service. It wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't good either. Wouldn't go back. Prices were reasonable, though.

Le Petit Four is located right on a preppy island within the rock'n'roll stomping grounds on Sunset Blvd. A nice, lively bistro that serves mainly french dishes but also has some italian and modern offerings in the menu. It's oneof those places where everybody wants to sit by the sidewalk, to see and be seen.

Went to le petit four last week end and had a great time! Was extremely busy but now I understand why! The food was delicious, the service was great and the owner himself was always around to check on us and offered us desert wine at the end. Try the banana chocolate cake. It's priceless!! Loved the place and will be back!!!

Le Petit Four has a huge menu, amazing wine list (very affordably priced, which is unusual for such a fine selection in LA),full bar, delicious food, friendly staff, extraordinary desserts (all pastries are made in-house, fresh, daily!), and tons of free parking - one of the only places on Sunset Blvd that offers convenient and free parking! The menu literally has something for everyone, and kids can easily be accommodated as well. I recommend the steak tartare, the whitefish, penne ala toscana or the farfalle seafood pasta, the beef medallions, and their black mussels are the best in town! For dessert, the saint honore is beyond amazing and any of the fruit tarts will be perfect. Oh! The apple tartetain is amazing too...okay, I can go on and on, but the bottom line is: this is the BEST place to have a lunch meeting, dinner with friends & family, or enjoy a long, lazy sunday lunch! If you like to star gaze, there is a constant flow of celebrities as well for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Classic French Bistro, the seating can be cramped, but once your in it's a lively atmosphere and the food is delicious. Definitely try the steak frites if you're into that sort of thing. The patio is great 350 days a year.
