I can just imagine Johnny Depp dining here. Old world opulance. With its dazzling crystal chandeliers above, open fire places, amd ruby decor. You feel like a rock star dining here. The atmosphere and surrounds blew me away. Great service, food was good but really came here to feel like a celebrity.

Gorgeous room....central West Hollywood. Traditional, stone building with high ceilings and atmosphere to spare....nice outdoor seating area, too. Great happy hour food that's high quality, tasty and inexpensive. Great drink deals, too.

When we first entered the restaurant, you could see the blank looks on our faces and the maitre'd just stared at us from the other side of the room instead of beckoning us or coming to us... Finally a waiter came over and told us where we need to go and wait to be seated or have our reservations checked.

The maitre'd had a bit of a sullen face, but we got a fantastic seat! It was a booth with half closing metal chain mail curtains for added privacy. I was thankful for the privacy because there were two parties of 7 young men who got progressively louder as the cocktails rolled on.

Our waiter was a lovely man of Mexican background. We were debating over a couple of dishes and may have confused him when we made our final decisions - but if confused, reiterate the order. I'm sorry, I don't remember if we had entrees and didn't take photos, so if I did, they weren't memorable.

Anyway when our mains came, it was what we didn't want, instead of what we had decided on. One dish was correct however, and I was concerned they were going to put it under the lights on the bench while they redid the other order. Which is exactly what happened. So my scallops came back overcooked, but the sauce was nice. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal. David's steak looked nice and he seemed to enjoy both dishes because he practically licked the plates clean!

Overall, our glasses were always full with water, which was nice to not have to ask like some places.

We didn't get desert because we were already sufficiently full. Our tip reflected our waiter's service, which was fair. The ambience of the place is amazing. I would recommend this place for an evening out with just adults.

Good food, little pricy. But the atmosphere and architecture are out of this world. The service is impeccable, and they have a great wine selection. It's definitely a sexy place to take a date.

First time at La Boheme for a pre-theatre dinner with my wife an another mature couple. Chose it based on location and online reviews. Service was friendly, professional, and efficient. Menu a bit limited, maybe to keep the price point reasonable. Food just okay. Big disappointment was the noise level. The interior is charming, but there is no divider between a very lively bar and the dining area. The revelry in the bar, the night we were there, made it difficult to carry on a conversation in the dining area. Won't go back.
