“Only missing the steel drum band”
Reviewed December 9, 2011

Okay so Caribbean is not high on most people's cuisine list and to be fair most people couldn't name a famous dish, Coley's is a place that you need to go to experience good Caribbean food and expand your horizons.

Patties to die for - that's a Jamaican turn on the English pasty or S American empanada. The Gumbo is a great alternative and you can see how the Creoles were influenced by other locales. Of course there's great Oxtail, Jerk Chicken, stews, curries and fish but my favorite is the Goat Curry (a real specialty) and the Escoveitched Fish which is not often beaten.

Go on be brave - try something you've not heard of, in here you wont regret it.
