Rooms are spacious and nice with plenty of space to store clothing. We were upgraded to a suite which had a large sitting area with gas fireplace and a small patio. Bathroom is well laid out with space to put toiletries and flattering vanity lighting.

Rooftop pool and dining area are quite beautiful. Food and wine selection good. please note, If you are here for business, this is the only public space in the hotel - there is no lobby area. We had a late lunch meeting. I guess we scheduled it during change from lunch to dinner, staff was extremely disruptive. It was clear that they wanted us to leave. Fortunately, we were able to move to the spacious living area in our hotel room.

Ample bell staff, but not helpful. They were too busy yelling at the taxi driver to move his car (even though he was parked right in front of the hotel) to help with bags. I carried my own bags to my room.

I ordered a rental car from the hotel. They had a car delivered to the hotel at a reasonable rate. This is a great service and will save you tons of time. If you pick up a car at lax, there is a long shuttle bus ride to car rental and usually a long line to wait in after that. You can avoid all of this by car delivery to hotel.

No complimentary champagne was offered. No big deal, but it felt kind of stingy since we spent two afternoons at the rooftop restaurant and not a small amount of money. They should not make this offer if they don't plan to follow through

Stayed for only one night, wish it could have been longer. The staff was incredible, anticipating all needs without being intrusive.

We stayed here for four nights, husband and wife. Having been to LA before we knew we had to get a rental car from the airport as LA is impossible without a car, hotel was easy to find even without gps we went the good old way with a map. We did choose this hotel because we get a discounted rate through work so it was a bargain for us.
All the staff is very attentive professional and check in check out and everything in between went without a hitch!
The room -214- was great! Very big with a large lounge area gas fire place desk little balcony for some star gazing, bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfy, flat screen tv and mini bar also in the room.
Ameneties were nice and replenished promptly, there is a hair drier and a clothes decreaser thingy which was new to me but worked a charm, only thing to note: there is no kettle for tea and coffee which we wouldn't use anyway but some people might miss it.
Room service was ok nothing special but was nice.
location is great, walking distance to lovely caffees and restaurant, also pharmacy and bank is around the corner, we walked to the Beverly center for shopping but it's also an easy drive and parking is cheap.
Definitely would stay here again if in LA!

I was excited to stay at Petit Ermitage as I'd heard it was a trendy West Hollywood boutique hotel. Sadly, it didn't live up to my expectation at all. From the first moment we arrived at check in, they didn't have my booking even though I had my reservation number etc all printed out. We were told to go up to the roof bar (which is actually stunning) for a complimentary drink while we waited for them to sort it out... we went up and the waitress hadn't been told about us and refused us the complimentary drink. Eventually we checked in and the strangest thing - they dont have "do not disturb" signs for the doors so throughout our stay (5 nights) we were woken mid-morning with house keeping and late afternoon for turn-down service (which we didnt ask for). Also, the room comes with two robes (which if you take home they charge you for). My partner used one and the next day they'd taken it away without replacing it... and they tried to charge us for it! Two last things... they only have ONE elevator servicing the whole hotel, including using it as a service elevator, so be prepared to wait.. and lastly when we were checking out, some "semi famous people" (I dont know who they were but both ladies at reception were clearly taken by the group) arrived to check in and we were completely ignored while the staff bantered with the group and we had to wait 30 mins just to check out.

FAIL!!!!
