We stayed here for 3 nights in September. Loved the location. A short stroll down the street takes you to the heart of WEHO and a short stroll up the street takes you to Sunset Boulevard. The rooms were spacious with the one room split between bed and couch with coffee table. Bathroom was small; shower only. Air con in hotel is not central but instead has wall air conditioning units in room and split air con units in hallway which were very effective. We had a problem with the air con in the first room we were appointed as it did not cool properly and was so warm in there that it was too uncomfortable to stay in. Upon reporting this to management, I was given my choice of 2 other available rooms. The air con in the room we ended up in worked very effectively and kept us cool during a very warm weekend. Management responded to the problem in a very timely way. We enjoyed the rooftop pool area very much (with bar). I would however highlight that it is more of a plunge pool than a swimming pool, but nonetheless it did the job! The poolside beds were very comfortable. The food ordered from the poolside bar (but made in their bistro downstairs) was very well priced and delicious, and was served by the pool. Great cocktails too! All in all, a very nice and comfortable stay with excellent service.

This hotel has beautiful rooms, and a great rooftop pool. But will gauge you for $35/day valet charge and $10.95 for internet access. This used to be an apt complex, so the building has a huge parking garage-- so there is ample room for parking, no need for the ridiculous pricing.

Leaves a very bad taste in your mouth.

Dear NYCtreks,

Thank you for your feedback. I sincerely regret you found our charging for valet parking and wireless internet to be excessive.

There is very limited parking in the City of West Hollywood, therefore, most properties in the area do charge a parking fee that is in line with our hotel.

The $10.95 fee for internet access is for the ability to connect wirelessly in a guest suite and public areas. We do however offer complimentary internet in our Business Center which is open 24 hours with access via a room key. The Business Center offers two Mac computers and two PC’s along with many other amenities!

Again, thank you for your comments as I do appreciate feedback from our guests. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly at the hotel if you would like to discuss in further detail.

Sincerely,

Chad Thompson

We stayed for 3 nights after a road trip of California. Nice spacious rooms with sitting area. Did have a balcony but actually very small and shaded so we didn't use. Loved the rooftop pool, great place for chilling out in the evening. I loved breakfast, nice choices. We ate in the hotel one night, and sat outside in a sunny spot in their little garden terrace, this was really enjoyable. Nice quirky decor, feels high end. And Nobu west hollywood is just around the corner!

The hotel is on a charming quiet street so you would never have to worry about street noise. The staff is very accommodating making sure everything about your stay is to your liking. The Chamberlain is very clean throughout the entire hotel including the guest rooms. The rooms are large and luxurious, decorated with modern cool furniture. The rooftop pool is peaceful with very comfortable chairs, nice awnings for those who would like shade, and enough chairs in the sun for those who don't. They also offer complementary iced tea and lemonade at the pool which is quite refreshing. I highly recommend staying at The Chamberlain.
