“Love this Place”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

I have eaten twice at Lazy Dog Cafe, and both times I find it is tomy liking. I love the dog theme decor, with leather booths, wooden beams, and rustic look (although the antler chandelier I could do without). Prices are reasonable, & menu offers several healthy selections. Our food & service were both great. It is a busy, happy, a little bit noisy place to be, but I actually like that in a restaurant. However, it is not as noisy as, say, a TGIF (where I can't even talk to the person across the table). There are plenty of t.v.'s to watch sports in the bar area, and many can be seen from the restaurant area too. My kind of place. Lazy Dog would also draw me in for happy hour -- nice bar.

Reviewed August 9, 2012

We have been meaning to try this place for a while now and decided to pop in on monday night after a day in LA. We loved it! Everything was perfect great decor, great overhead music, food and service was spot on! We will most certainly be back as it scored very high on the kid friendly scale!

“Rising Star in West Covina”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

Lazy Dog is the new kid (chain) on the block here (opened 2012), but it seems to be one of the most busy restaurants in and around the West Covina Fashion Plaza Mall. Food is generally excellent and from around the world, and they seem to be aware of and to offer more healthy (and tasty) options than other chains. For example, besides lots (like Cheesecake Factory?) of standard American fare, they offer an ahi tuna burger, a veggie focaccia sandwich, orange chicken (available w/brown rice), and their (very) spicy Moroccan Chicken w/couscous. Service is attentive, and ambiance/decor is very attractive and "quasi-exotic" (kind of like Elephant Bar but nicer). Naturally, a couple cannot eat here for $20 (more like $30+) and it tends to be on the noisy side (especially if a Lakers or Dodgers game is in progress on one of the many screens) since it is very popular for family birthday celebrations, graduation parties, etc.
