Description: Va de Vi translates to "It's all about wine!" in Spain's Catalan language. Of course, it's all about food, too! Chef Brad Zeller's menu encourages diners to explore and share a variety of eclectic, international small plate portions. Bold tastes encourage diners to explore the large international wine list, easily navigated by tasting notes. Many wines are offered by the glass in addition to pre-arranged flights to allow diners to compare different wines and discover new favorites. A warm, casual elegance defines the ambiance. Outdoors, dine under an ancient oak tree or grab a table in the picturesque lane.

“Always interesting, but very little elbow room”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I've never been disappointed by the menu here. It's always creative and delicious. The small plates are a great way to experience numerous different items. I love the options of wine flights and always enjoy sampling the different varietals. My one negative, and why we don't go as often as we might, is the lack of space. It's a small place and the inside can be very cramped. Outside seating is preferable if the weather cooperates.

“Expensive but worth it”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Best ambiance in town and the food is high quality, well prepared and attractively presented. Good wine list, with nice "flight" choices. Be warned: this restaurant specializes in small plate style servings. If you want to leave feeling uncomfortably full, it's going to cost you. The outdoor seating choices make it one of our favorite places to dine nine months out of the year.

“Wonderful tastes of food”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

We love going here to get tastes of a variety of foods, expertly prepared. There are also wine flights, so you can taste wines too. The noise level does get high when it is full and sometimes it is hard to get enough distance from the next table to have a truly romantic dinner, but the food makes it all worth it. The waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable. Leave plenty of time to find parking on busy nights.

“Mediocre”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I've tried this restaurant from time to time over the years, thinking it SHOULD be good and I WANT to like it. But it just isn't and I'm training myself not to keep hoping. The restaurant is a very pleasant place, so now, when my wife goes to shopping in WC, I park myself in the Wine Bar until she is finished. Good wine selection and a pleasant place to drink good wine and read a book or periodical.
