I'm sorry to say that I think $10.00 per person is alot for this garden. It is a nice place, not that large but very interesting. There were many interesting plants, some I hadn't even seen before and I've seen many. No comparison to Phoenix Botanical garden but nice.and that really isn't a fair compairson. So it is nice and good to see in this area and worth seeing especially if you love this type of landscape and we do!

A warm greeting at reception with a map and helpful directions. The gardens aren't large but
they are filled with interesting plants and trees. It made for a very enjoyable hour.
The reception area to check in is very small, expansion would be good, but I know they have
limited space to work with.
We would definitely go back for another visit. Very nice people run the gardens.

Be sure to tour with a docent, who will explain not only the flora and fauna but the history as well. It is a wonderful tribute to one woman's passion.

If you like cactus, succulents, and other water wise plants, you’ll love Ruth Bancroft Gardens. There is an astonishing assortment of rare and common succulents with blooms and beauty galore. This is a hidden treasure in a suburban neighborhood. Make a point to visit and you’ll view cactus in a different light.
