The Summer Moonlight amphitheater is first class musical theater in a pleasant outdoor setting. Vista's weather is beautiful, though cool at night in the park and a jacket/sweater is always advisable. The music and acting are as good as any you will see, and a great surprise for a civic theater. The stage, sound and lighting is state of the art. If they are performing a show that interests you, don't miss it, as it will rival in quality anywhere else.
Parking can be difficult for the elderly, as it requires an uphill walk across lawn. However, buses are available as well as disabled parking.
Dinner is available, or you can bring your own picnic dinner. However, alcohol (beer and wine) must be purchase within the facility, and you can no longer bring your own. Reserved seating available as well as lawn seating, for which they provide the chairs.
