I first learned soup, sandwich and salad shop at a Lecture, that served beautiful, big 1/2 sandwiches on croissanto and salad in clear plastic containers. I asked where they came from and was told, The sandwiches were beautifully done, fresh and tasty. We became regulars at the Lunch Box, after that, Over time, they have become rather sloppy in the presentation of their sandwiches and 1/2's are starting to look more like 1/4's. They scrimp on ingredients, like one thin, small ,wisp of a piece of red onion. They tell you because it's a strong onion, not so. They stopped putting a slice of cheese on the Tuna sandwiches. I had to ask. It is slow service, very slow. One time my take out was very old tasting tuna, on a hard croissant, stale, which is usually delicious. Cookies are delicious and fresh sandwiches, neatly made and presented are called for here, like the good old days. Come on kids, you are not the only sandwich place on the block. Get back to where you were.
