We stopped in after a day of hiking at Sequoia National Park. We were staying in Exeter, which had very little variety for dinner. We drove on into Visalia looking for food and pulled into the first mall-looking place that we came to. We didn't want fast food, which was in abundance, so we drove completely around the place until we saw a small restaurant that was indiscrete-looking. We were famished, so decided to try it. it was about 5pm on a Monday, first week of June. The place had limited seating, I think about 8-10 tables, maybe a bit more (there was a big party of around a dozen people in the center, so it was hard to estimate). We ordered the Thai tea (yummy), and Chicken Pad Thai for me, and chicken fried rice for him. The wait was long for our food, but I think it was only because of the big party, because once they were gone, people who came in later only waited a few minutes. Our food arrived some 20-25 minutes later and it was totally worth the wait. I have never had such piping hot, fresh-tasting food ever. The noodles were awesome and I devoured the dish like it was nectar. We tasted each other's dishes and were unanimous with our decision about this being the best we had ever had.
