“New Years Eve Party”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

The New Years Eve party was excellent. Park was open 4pm to Midnight and there was a great fireworks show at Midnight. We also got to see a special holiday dolphin show and sea lion show. They had various holiday atmosphere entertainment throughout the park. Despite the cold weather the rides and shows made us forget the cold, and it was a great way to spend New Years Eve. I highly recommend spending your NYE here.

“Fun time for Kids”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

This review may be a bit late as we visited Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in May 2012 with our 2 young kids. They loved the park and some of the rides were a smashing hit with them.

he dolphin show and Shouka show were a hit with the kids. the dolphin show was especially very lively, full of energy and fun. The park had many animals such as elephants, tiger, dolphins, giraffes, walrus, dolphin - all these one could watch from up close.

The bird show was not fun - maybe due to the afternoon toasty 90 degree sun. the food in the park (as in other parks) was expensive...I was pleasantly surprised to see a few Johnny Rockets restaurants. Lot of restrooms throughout the park - which means no long lines...I only wish the map was a bit more friendly and easy to use. Tickets were a bit pricey - be sure to buy them online and if you plan ahead you can get a 3 day advance lower price.

There are a lot of rides for smaller kids (height less than 48 inches) - especially in the Loony Tunes area. Cobra ride was a big hit with the kids. You can easily spend a day by enjoying the rides.

“Fun for everyone!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

This is a wonderful park to visit for both families and thrill seekers.
There are plenty of kides for the little ones, and a good selection of thrill rides for teenagers and thrill seekers. The animals and animal shows provide a good balance for the park, one more way that this park is fun for everyone. Only catch is that if anyone in your party is taller than 6'2" there are a few less rides that you can go on.

“Fun Experience”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

If you go during the holiday season, there is new stuff. Some attractions are closed, but it's not too bad. Sledding down the snow hill was fun and the dolphin show was amazing.
