We made a spur of the moment decision to have dinner here, and enjoyed it. My wife had the shaved artichoke salad, and I had the pork belly/lentil appetizer. Both were tasty. They were generous with the delicious homemade bread...offering more when the server spotted the almost empty basket. My wife had the flat iron steak, which was a generous size, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Her gnocchi, cippolini onions and mushrooms were tasty as well. I had the risotto, which was also generously portioned and cooked to perfection. If I go to an eatery for the first time and they have risotto, I will almost always try it - in this case, I am glad I did. The wine selection was comprehensive, although a bit pricey...had an excellent bottle of Cabernet Savignon, though. Excellent! The place is probably not ideally located, but it works. In a small strip mall, but that adds something to the ambience, I guess. The decor inside is somewhat rustic and seems to fit the location. We'll be back to try the bar another day...maybe they will have a decent house wine at a reasonable price...We're told they are going to start a Sunday brunch, and we'll certainly give that a try. Can't have too many decent eateries!
