Comfort Suites Vacaville

Here's a dose of realism for the TA reviews. First these rooms are NOT suites, they are one large room with the king bed separated by a partial hip wall from the sitting area with a fold-out double sleeper sofa. The sofa might be OK for small kids but our nearly adult daughters did not sleep well on it. You cannot separate the sleeping areas so you can keep a light on to read while the other two sleep (as with a Quality Suites room). We could hear the guest in the next room cough. The bathroom is new-ish but the grab bar in the shower is poorly placed and the tub is slippery (no mat). The desk clerk was very nice and our room and the public areas (breakfast area, indoor pool & hot tub, small fitness room) were very clean. Wireless internet worked well; good bedding on the king bed. In summary the hotel was clean and a great value, but if ever in Vacaville again I would be tempted to explore some of the other lodging options.

Clean and smart room, good breakfast included, and short driving distance to shops, factory stores and a variety of restaurants and burger joints. Couldn't ask for more from a mid-range chain hotel apart from a restaurant on site.

Stayed at a Comfort Suits in Visalia Ca the night before and nearly decided to never stay at a Comfort Suite or any Choice Hotel again; decided to drive by this one before making my final decision. Glad I did, this hotel is like night and day (BETTER!) to my previous nights experience. Only complaint is that the phone in the room did not seem to be working (could not hear the front desk clerk and she said I she could not hear me when I walk down to tell her about it; but minor compared to the terrible stay in Visalia)

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night on a shopping/ napa valley trip. The beds were the most comfortable to quote my wife; and we have stayed at more than 10 hotels during our 30 day trip in US/ Canada. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive to the Vacaville Premium Outlets. It is an older hotel, but it has been well maintained and the rooms are extremely clean.

I stayed with my family during the weekday for one night during spring break.
The hotel is located in a safe, clean area close to freeway access and the outlet mall.
Check in was easy, fast even without hotel reservations, and staff was friendly too.
Rooms were nice and had refrig, coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer. Everything needed for a comfortable stay.
One drawback was, I felt the walls were thin as I could hear people coming and going from other rooms and the noise from the pool directly below us was loud. I would recommend the third floor if you are a light sleeper like me.
We arrived for breakfast late and they kept it well stocked and plentiful with eggs, sausage, bagels, waffles, cereal, pastries, juice, milk and coffee.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This hotel is simple but great! The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet. Great value and close to the highway. And best of all, they have Coffemate creamer (actual cream) instead of that powder crap. I would recommend this hotel to friends and business travelers...

Courteous, helpful front desk. The king bed was extremely comfortable "BUT" why locate it 8 to 10 inches from the noisy ac unit. The walls are paper thin and we listened to coughing and laughter til 1:30 am for 2 nights. Tour buses and diesel trucks park in the side parking lot and the noise from them is quite annoying early 6am. We tried the complimentary hot breakfast the first day and skipped the rest. Not appetizing. For those who do the factory outlet thing, its a good location. Your view from the south side of the hotel is of retirement trailer park and the north side view is of the Holiday Inn Express. No "real " courtyard to sit in other than a very small enclave by the indoor pool. Would not recommend for a romantic getaway.

Room Tip: Don't know that there would be a best room
