We stayed here for the budget accommodation option with Prime Safaris. The stay was great, the facilities and rooms are clean, the service is more than excellent and it is a very good value. If you are on a budget, this is a very good option.

We recently stayed at Twiga Tales lodge for 2 nights. It is really close to the Tangi gate of Murchison Falls NP. The staff is very attentive, the rooms very clean and spacious with a nice bathroom as well. The food was very tasty, apart from the one unfortunate packed lunch we took which was by and large inedible. Some small things they can keep in mind for future guests is to consider placing fans in the rooms as it was beyond boiling point when we were there and had we not been so exhausted after long days, we would have had no sleep in the heat. Also consider placing a bin somewhere in the room or bathroom, but overall really lovely, thank you.

Welcome back from the Great conservation area of Murchison falls, surely being close to the Tangi gate is giving us an edge---- enabling our visitors close in to the heart of the game in time...
We are steadily reviewing the weakness and lapse in operations and closing in to the packed lunch issue as i write this we have closed in to these small things as you highlight..
We thank you once again to take time off and review us to this giant travellers page.
Ciao.

Stayed here for two nights, the staff were amazing. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. Food is very nice. Location is good if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. Close to the Tangi gate of Murchison, 5-10 mins drive. Would definitely stay here again.

Greetings to you from East Africa and ciao to your Neighbour Bush house London...
Tangi gate proximity plus the tasty meal especially the popular Tilapia from danger man in the Kitchen Clarkson
make us trending in this bush...
Thanks for highlighting our gem.

We stayed 2 nights to be near to the Tangi Gate of Murchinson Falls National Park.
Arriving at 3PM, after a tiring 7 hour drive from our Kampala hotel, we checked in and our bags were carried to our "Buffalo" room, located 100 meters from the reception/restaurant. We returned at dusk after a game drive, to retire to this thatched cottage (the 3rd of 4, sitting on the edge of a long grassland/papyrus view) with a king foam mattress with full mosquito net, daybed we used for storage, and a bathroom with soap, flush toilet, and slow water. Each of these rooms had one overhead light dimly powered by solar and one workable outlet to charge our devices.
Our 6:30AM breakfast was our choice to include fruit, eggs, toast, cornflakes, baked beans, and coffee with cold milk. Because we ate our main meal away during our game drives, we did not use the restaurant for other meals.
This small 4 cottage accommodation is certainly an upgrade from camping, but it was very hot inside with no fan, the window screening had some holes and the gap at the bottom of the door became disconcerting when we saw a snake on the outside bench, thus our 3 star rating.

Thank you so much for this review.. we would like to extend to you our sincere apologies regarding the issue of hotteness inside our rooms and the discorfort you got due to holes in the window screnning, it's a pitty that we couldn't work on it during your stay. we are actually happy to read about how you tried to keep your stay and looking forward to your next visit.
