It's a very nice place, as others have commented.
Note that the rooms and bathrooms are extremely small, without TV, fridge or microwave. There are some picnic tables but no BBQs, so you basically have to take your meals in Ukiah (2.5 miles). I have not seen any restaurant in the area, in the same class as the hotel.
So arrive early, soak, get a massage or walk to the falls, relax and hit the road after breakfast.

We have been relaxing here as often as possible for years. The grounds and rooms / cottages are well maintained and the carbonated mineral spring water is nearly undescribable. They call them "champagne baths", my body literally feels as if I am submerged in bubbling champagne.I have psoriasis. Thank you Vichy Springs Resort, I have finally found relief for my condition. As far as I am concerned... It is the "Fountain of Youth". They also provide fresh continental breakfast and a wonderful staff. We highly recommend this resort.

Room Tip: The creekside rooms are most conviently located. They are next to game room and near Olympic sized p...

If you're a nature lover looking for a relaxing, romantic and pampering getaway, Vichy Springs is the place for you! From the picturesque grounds, to the Spring fed mineral baths (that are naturally carbonated and 90 degrees year round!), to the mineral water hot tub where you can sit and watch the wonders of nature pass you by, to the stunning waterfall that waits for you after a beautiful 30 minute hike up the creek bed on the property (we swam at the base of the waterfall - crystal clear cold water - felt great after our hike), this place has it all! I cannot wait to go back!

We just loved this place! We rode a motorcycle up Highway 1 and across the Mountainview Road, needless to say we were exhausted. Got to the beautiful resort, went in the tubs and felt amazing.

The rooms are so great! Quaint, lovely and comfortable! The only thing if anything was the only toiletries are "sample" so if you are travelling light, like on a motorbike, this is a bit of a downer. No biggie though.

THE BREAKFAST!!! Absolutely wonderful!!!!

Please make this a destination, I would have like to have spent at least two if not three nights in the area.

Room Tip: They are all wonderful rooms.

We hit up a two-hour pass for the Vichy Springs Resort hot springs. They have 3 different pools - an 80° Olympic sized pool, a 104°hot tub and 90° mineral baths (ten of them, each about the size of a big bathtub). All of them are fed by the natural mineral water. We didn't go into the main pool, but the mineral baths were refreshing. There's a little stream right by the baths which provides a tranquil backdrop for relaxing. Six of the baths are enclosed by a door with a little latch, so you can have some privacy. The ones with the doors are grouped in twos, so you could have 3 couples, each with a their own private little area, the other four baths are out in the open.

In the two hours we were there, we saw many deer (from the hot tub) and some horses grazing. All good stuff when you're trying to relax.

There were a couple things that we didn't love. There happened to be many children in the mineral bath area (which is right by the hot tub), so they were pretty loud. A few times a little kid would push on our door (which we had latched) and would say "Daddy, this door is locked" or something to that effect, which wasn't quite as relaxing. There were also a bunch of children in the hot tub (maybe the same ones) and that made it a bit less peaceful as well. We did notice a massage area, also near the hot tub, and a sign that says to stay quiet because of a massage in progress, but no doubt they could hear the kids too. Still, it's a great spot so we'll stick with the four stars.

There were some falls you could hike to, which we would have loved to do, but we didn't have the time. There was also a little game room there with a few pinball machines. We said we'd maybe go back there and stay there for a night or two, as it would probably be a nice little retreat.

The girl at the front desk was great - very nice and since we got there just before an hour, gave us a few extra minutes with our pass.

It was $30 per person for a two-hour pass. Pretty reasonable.

I came here for an anniversary and have absolutely no complaints about the place. Vichy Springs is a haven away from the bustle of the Bay Area. It is tranquil, beautiful, and welcoming. We stayed one night and enjoyed the private bubbly tubs and the swimming pools as well. They have a neat little water source where you can try the spring water (not the tastiest water, but it was fun to try). Outside of our room, we had an audience of fearless deer and turkey roaming the lawns. On the hike to Chemisal Falls, we saw a plethora of wildlife, and even ran into a very friendly, tame horse who greeted us.

I had an absolutely amazing time and can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Travel in the spring when the waterfall is more vibrant.
