We walked from our motel so the convenience sold us. We were seated promptly and ignored for 10 minutes. We asked our waiter to split an entree and requested that we each be allowed the "add-on" price for the salad bar. No dice. Now this is a salad bar that is worth about $4.95 that they charge $12.00 for if not accompanying an entree ($6 with entree). We chose a single salad bar pass and shared the plate. The entree was very good and the split ($2 extra) was accomplished very nicely with great presentation. Once we said no dessert, it took another 20 minutes to be presented with our bill. AND then, the waiter stood over us until we put the cash on the tray. ???

Driving through Ukiah to get to the Redwoods - actually ate here again on the way back south. First time was dinner in the Sports Bar during Monday Night Football! Crazy!! Food was really good, but service was very slow. Second time we ate in the dining room - totally different experience! Had appetizers and their salad bar. Really great salad bar and the Lobster Corn Bisque was super!

Having had travelled all day, we were tired, wrinkled, and hungry. Our hotel referred us over. We were given the once over by the hostess and waitstaff. "Would we prefer to sit in the bar?" the hostess asked. We replied no, and waited for 25 minutes. I am glad we waited, and ignored the evil eye. The food was fantastic!!!! I hope the attitude will change, as this place deserves the accolades. I had scallops, my husband a steak, and both were to die for. Would come back if we are in the area.

We were in Ukiah for a couple days, and ate twice at Crush after having it recommended to us by a family member. First night was the Fillet steak for me, pasta bolognese for husband, we split caesar salad (just right portion split), had great bread with wonderful o. oil and special balsalmic vinegar. And split a chocolate dessert that was out of this world. One of the best steaks I've ever had in a restaurant, if not THE best. Pasta was homemade and outstanding flavor and sauce. Wine choice by waitress excellent (can't remember her name off hand but she was so knowlegable about menu and wines was unreal). Second night we split caesar salad again, husband had the meatball appetiser and i had chicken picatta. Again, one of the best dinners we've ever had. Dessert again was shared, we had same excellent waitress, chef came out to ask how we like meal. This place unbelievable. And price for quality of food and service was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

We have had some great lunches at Crush, and this week we tried them for dinner and it was very good. We shared a wonderful filet and the potatoes and creamed spinach were nice. They have a wonderful facility here and the staff is very nice if a little inexperienced. Their biggest problem I can see is the location next to Ukiah's two nicest hotels. I have seen that travelers from California's metropolitan areas ( as well as many other locations) tend to be overly critical ( especially on Yelp) of restaurants outside their area. Hopefully Ukiah will support Crush and help make this fine restaurant a fixture.
