Description: It's "Cheers Gone Chic" at Saucy, a wood-fired pizzeria in the heart of Ukiah's emerging, historic downtown. Thin crust Neapolitan-style pizzas star on the menu, which also includes an incredible array of delicious salads, fun, tasty, Italian bites (Cicchetti) like Nonna's Meatballs and Burrata, as well as "sandos", pasta and other wood-fired specialties. Saucy is an "urban oasis", boasting an incredible selection of craft-brewed Northwest focused beers on 15 taps and an eclectic, affordable selection of wine on tap and in the bottle. Saucy offers "Big City" flavors at friendly, affordable prices. Eat here or we'll both starve.

You can't be more downtown than Saucy's. I live in in Ukiah and this place ranks in my top 3 restaurants that I take visitors to. Great Craft Beer and Wine list. Very good Pizza. Great lunch spot. Have a great meal and stroll downtown Ukiah afterwards.

The food is unique and yummy. The staff friendly. A few wishes: translate the menu, and don't offer Ukiah tap water. At least do RO.

Tried Saucy a relatively new restaurant in Ukiah and was impressed. The visible and attractive pizza oven churned out a wonderful funghi pizza w perfect crust. The kale caesar a daring endeavor given kale's general toughness actually worked well w an aggressive caesar dressing and croutons that stood up well to the tenderest and freshest kale I have ever eaten. My daughter had the pera salad a whole stewed pear surrounded by arugula salad fresh innovative she loved it !
Service unfortunately was lax. our waitress seemed tired and basically absent and was unable to answer any questions we had about the food stating "I'm new." Sorry, but when I drop 50 on lunch I expect a knowledgeable and interested server who is familiar w the food offerings That said Saucy is a good place to eat and certainly a fine addition to Ukiah's generally lackluster restaurant scene.

Saucy bakes all their food in a wood oven! Everything was fabulous. However if you are hungry, I would not recommend this restaurant because the portion sizes were extremely small. Best Pizza and breadsticks ever.

Very busy "hot spot" for socializing. Extremely attentive staff for as busy and crowded as the place gets, but it was Memorial Day weekend! Fun spot to chat, relax and watch peeps.
