Description: It's "Cheers Gone Chic" at Saucy, a wood-fired pizzeria in the heart of Ukiah's emerging, historic downtown. Thin crust Neapolitan-style pizzas star on the menu, which also includes an incredible array of delicious salads, fun, tasty, Italian bites (Cicchetti) like Nonna's Meatballs and Burrata, as well as "sandos", pasta and other wood-fired specialties. Saucy is an "urban oasis", boasting an incredible selection of craft-brewed Northwest focused beers on 15 taps and an eclectic, affordable selection of wine on tap and in the bottle. Saucy offers "Big City" flavors at friendly, affordable prices. Eat here or we'll both starve.

“Upscale tasty pizza”

Saucy is rustic with urban sophistication. That is a hard balance to strike but they have done it. The Kale Caesar Salad is amazing. The wood fired pizzas are also incredible. They use very high end quality products.

“Amazing Pizza!!!”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

Need I say more?? They have many options for pizza and let you create your own. The waiters are always well informed on the menu options and the owner makes you feel like you are going to a friends house rather than eating out. I love all of the appitzers and have seen the soup (never tried it.. yet) it looked yummy! All of the food is very fresh and made to order. It takes around ten minutes to get an tasty perfectly cooked pizza. I love the think crust. The problem is when I start eating it I can't stop! I have tried a couple of the salads and they have all been excellent. You can count on the food being cooked with care. I've sat back and watched. Great choice for lunch or dinner.

Saucy is a new restaurant in Ukiah which offers an eclectic menu centered around wood fired pizza. We have been there three times now and are very happy to have this excellent restaurant in town. There is also an nice selection of wine and beer and a cozy bar. My wife and I can enthusiastically recommend the pizza and the burrata appetizer. The minestrone soup is original and delicious. The service is efficient, helpful and friendly. (Many thanks to James!)
