My expectations were for a upscale Motel 6 and instead we found extraordinary quality with a large remodeled King room with new wood flooring (bamboo), all soaps and cleaning supplies used are green. It was quiet and the breakfast included waffles. I would recommend this hotel over a Holiday Inn or other such any time.
We have stayed at the Ukiah Super 8 at least 6 times while traveling up and down the west coast of California. Sometime in the past year they remodeled the rooms in a grape vineyard theme. The rooms were nice before the remodel, but they are more modern after. The flooring is now wood-grain laminate, and there is a large vineyard art photo in each room. The staff is always friendly, and we have always found a clean room. They have a separate trash can in the rooms for recycling. I would suggest staying in the building closest to the reception desk, especially if you are non-smoking. I'm pretty sure it's quieter, as it's more sheltered from the freeway. On one recent visit, we were assigned a "non-smoking" room in the 2nd bldg, but the room smelled of smoke, so we were given a room in the first bldg. If you need more than a continental breakfast, you can eat at the coffee shop across the parking lot. Great motel overall!
The room was very good , clean ,roomy and had all the amenities . It was a very good value for the money , but the continental breakfast wasn't so good cold runny gravy and wasn't serviced when needed.
