Wonderful place! Excellent food. Don't forget to stop by the building on your left when you are coming in from the main entrance. Go inside and pays respects to the statues of the Founder. If it weren't because of him (he had been enlightened, he was able to cleanse and give blessing to the whole area), otherwise the place where you enjoys so much would have been still a mad house full of wild spirits roaming around.
Now, the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas is a place you can find peace an tranquality. It is a great place where people from all over the world should come and visit and also to learn the Buddhas' precept. They also have lots of free books to read. They give you lots of insights how to conduct ourselves properly, and how to bring peace to the world, so we may all live happily.

The place is like an enlightened diner, but the food is superb. There are so many good things on the menu, you'll wish you hadn't eaten for three days before showing up. Odd surroundings but great food. Have fun with it.

Did not know what to expect from this place. Friend of mine is doing the meditation in here, so one day he bought me to check it out. It is an unique place for meditation. New comer is welcome. There are a lot of Caucasians doing the meditation, not just Asians. Inside of the properties, there are a lot of peacocks around. According to the staff, the peacocks come by themselves. The temple did not bring and raise them before. Very interesting!

We came on a hot day, about 100 degrees F. Spent some time in the exhibition hall and observed a Buddihist service in the auditorium. Peacocks delighted the kids.
