So I first heard of his place on the food network, I think there is five locations, between San Gabriel and Tustin. The original has been around since the 40's if I remember correctly. It really isn't a restaurant, but I get food there all the time. Amazing selection of Deli meats and cheeses, including like 15 -20 different types of Salami, I love the Alpino, and both domestic and imported Procuitto. The staff is friendly and helpful, and if you have never tried sopresetta salami, or bougusto salami, ask for a sample and they will be glad to give you one. I go for the large sandwich for 6 bucks which includes your choiceof 3 meats(not procuitto) and cheese, plus all the fixins you like. There is also hot food, like lasagna, sausage, and pasta. We also pick up the pre made pizza dough and sauce and take it home to make our own. Finally it is a market as well, from old world sauces, to Italian wines, and of course pasta and Itailian Sausages. Heck if you need a pizzelle or pasta maker, they got it. Check it out, you won't be disapointed. ****Note all the stores are closed on Wednsdays.
