“Wonderful!”
Reviewed August 28, 2010

The food was very delicious! My husband and I go once a year to celebrate our anniversary. It is a very special place and we love going there. We both had the Filet Mignon tonight and Ellen is a great waitress. She suggested the Pinot Noir and it was out of this world...expensive as hell but what the heck it was a special night for us...28 years of marriage. We will return for #29!

“Home”
Reviewed December 24, 2009

This place is very comfortable. The staff is the best. The owner is caring, They love Dogs!!!! We go there quite often to have a small meal, and a glass of champagne. Sit in the Bar and listen to their Trio Play. Makes for a very nice evening.

“Great food and elegant but comfortable atmosphere”
Reviewed December 10, 2009

We have been there several times, usually special occasions due to the price, but have never been disappointed with the food or service. A little pricey, but well worth it.

“overpriced and small portions--”
Reviewed August 6, 2009

Everything is priced at over $30 -- with a ribeye steak just a few dollars more than a chicken breast. Portions are very very small -- and quality is just above mediocre. I paid over $120 for two small steaks-- like packaged ribeyes in Von's value meat section-- and two very small wilted spinich salads. The main course came with one-- count it --one sprig of brocoli-- more decoration than part of the meal -- and four tiny asparagas. Corkage was high at $20 a bottle-- salads were by the way $13 -- minimum. High prices and very small portions and average to below average quality-- disappointing as in the past I had enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere is old world and very nice --however. THey only brought two rolls to the table in a basket at a time - to make sure you didn't take two at once I suppose-- and only three butter patties that were never replaced. Rolls were a tad stale in any case. I was asked to pay cadillac prices while they were serving quantity and quality on a miser's level. Ruth Chris or Mastro's for the same prices give you a huge steak of great quality -- something to justify paying well over $30 for one steak--

“Not the best in town....haven't been back.”
Reviewed February 25, 2009

We went for a birthday celebration. The clientele is certainly in the older age bracket. The service is slow and we didn't have a very friendly or attentive waitress. The food was okay. We are picky about our food being served hot and our dishes were mixed, meat cold, potatoes cold, veggies hot, etc. Maybe the timing is off in the kitchen for plating the food.
Nice atmosphere and it's quiet. It's expensive for the quality of food they service. We live locally and never have gone back as there are better restaurants in the area.
