I was looking for a place to meet a friend for lunch in Tustin and checked out TripAdvisor, of course. I'd heard about Rutabegorz but never eaten there. It's in an old bank building on the main street of Old Town Tustin, with eclectic decor and tin ceilings. There's a huge menu with healthy choices. But I chose the BLT with avocado and cheese--not terribly healthy but tasted good. We ate on the patio which faces the street, but it was quiet enough to talk easily. They don't take reservations, but tables were available inside throughout lunchtime. There is street parking and also a parking ramp behind the restaurant, but the left turn up the ramp is easy to miss. Also, make sure you look for West Main--my friend was late since he was looking on the East side. All in all, a nice place for a quiet lunch with lots of choices. After lunch make sure to drive around and look at the Victorian and Craftsman houses on the nearby side streets.
