After researching hotels in and around Tulare, we decided to give the Quality Inn a try. We had never been to a Quality Inn and found it to be above average at a reasonable price. The room itself was a nice size to where you didn't feel cramped. The quilted pillow top bed was very comfortable with crisp, clean sheets and comforter. The bathroom had a nice shower and sensor control lights so you didn't have to fumble looking for a switch at night. 3 nice chairs and a small table for doing work on your computer as well as a small refrig and microwave if you needed it. A walk over to IHOP for lunch or dinner (10% off if you show your hotel card - not good with senior meals, though). They have a quick type breakfast at the hotel. Only a few downsides: thin bath towels, internet not so high speed, a little freeway noise. I do recommend the hotel - great stay.
