“Always a great breakfast in Trinidad”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Good place for breakfast or lunch in Trinidad. Essentially a small diner. Good portions and prices reasonable.

“down-home goodness”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

We walked in on a Wednesday night in July and only had to wait about five minutes for a table, but during that time we were offered samples of homemade fudge--my kind of place. Once seated in a cozy booth, we enjoyed thick clam chowder and salads with the famous blackberry cobbler for dessert. One serving was enough for the table!

“Consistently good food”
Reviewed August 17, 2012 via mobile

We've been here lots of times and have never left hungry or unhappy. Some others have complained about greasy food...I can't eat it so I don't order fried food...but my husband reports that it is great. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and I've always gotten a great meal. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Bye the way...don't miss the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream...it's the best!!

“Didn't live up to my expectations”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

With the wonderful location and access to fresh seafood, my lunch the Trinidad Bay Eatery didn't meet my expectations. We visited on a busy Saturday, which may have been part of the problem. We were seated after a 30 minute wait and our orders were taken promptly. I had the shrimp fish and chips. Other members of the party had a grilled tuna fish salad sandwich and a salads. The salads were good but the rest of the food was greasy. The fish had potential but the shrimp tasted like it came from the frozen food section of a grocery store anywhere. The fries had potential, but seemed undercooked and saturated with oil. I hope we just hit them on a bad day. The fudge, by the way, was excellent.
