There was a lot of info nearby the Big Lagoon Beach and County Park.

I stood there enjoying the lagoon. On the right side there were trees, on the left side it was flat.

People can bring their boats on the lagoon.

There were people eating nearby the lagoon. The sand was grey.

I certainly liked that lagoon.

Worthwhile to see!

We stayed in an airbnb overlooking the beach adjacent to Big Lagoon. My favorite spot of the entire trip. There are signs posted that say No swimming, survival not expected. The lagoon itself is very calm, and a great place to kayak or paddleboard. Stay away from the edge of the ocean!!

This is a nice place for hiking at the beach
Restrooms available. There is a small day charge but worth it.

It is gorgeous - pristine- and quiet- good place to kayak in good weather- or even watch some of the sail boat races ( although we only heard about that- none were going on when we were there). A beautiful unspoiled and BIG bay...

If you like violent waves-- this is your place. We saw a surfer give up because the swells were so big he couldn't get his board into position. We went there to hunt for agates but found none-- a lady felt sorry for us and gave us one she found. I found a lot of colorful, pretty rocks and drift wood samples to bring home. The scenery is stunning and we enjoyed the walk. It costs $5.00 to park and there's no attendant so have the exact change ready.
